This Sunday will be the last in the Gospel of Mark. If you have been with us since the beginning of this journey, CONGRATUALTIONS, you’ve just read an ENTIRE GOSPEL!
...Or will have read it...so I have broken down the chapter in an effort to guide you through this last chapter for the week, but feel free to read it in any manner you choose. The important thing is that you are spending time with God, listening to Him, and reflecting on what He is telling you :)
With that said, here is how I have broken down the chapter:
Monday – Mark 16: 1-8
Tuesday – Mark 16: 9-11
Wednesday – Mark 16: 12-13
Thursday – Mark 16: 14-18
Friday – Mark 16: 19-20
Saturday – Mark 16: 1-20 (This may seem repetitive, but I often find that reading larger portions of scripture in one sitting really helps to set the context of smaller sections of scripture and single verses. For that matter, since by now you have read the entire Gospel of Mark one chapter at a time, I also think carving out the time to reread it beginning to end would be invaluable.)
I look forward to this Sunday and hearing how God spoke to each of you through the readings, and to dig in and see what lessons we can learn!
